I've worked to a certain elderly about 90 yrs independently living alone for 15 yrs at her house. Not bathing nor cooking her own food. She buys cinnamon raisin bread and fruits for consumption. She just don't trust anyone. But with my patience and dedication I built a rapport and after 4 months I earned her trust. I was very happy to my long journey I was able to clean her up. For so many times of unfortunate events but in the end I was very successful. I am a graduate nurse in the Phil but not fortunate enough to pass the nclex RN. In anyhow, elderly care is geriatric nursing and I c am still work and help /assist other elderly people. My motto is always "nursing is not a just profession but a vocation" and this apply to any of them who needs me.
