I started volunteering with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities at the age of 8 and most recently volunteered at Miracle League baseball, supporting kids as young as three to adults age 70. I spent two years working for Autism Society of North Carolina and 9 months working for Easterseals UCP North Carolina & Virginia as a paraprofessional support staff. I am now a certified therapeutic recreation specialist, soon to be licensed. I would be happy to provide references but for privacy reasons do not feel comfortable posting them for public view.
