About Francis

Hello! My name is Francis, and I am currently a Junior at Whitman College in Walla Walla, WA. I am studying Psychology and Hispanic studies, with a goal in studying pediatric and developmental psychology. For the past 2 years, I have worked as a tutor for America Reads America Counts in the WW school district. I love working with kids, and value developing relationships and working through problems. I completed four years of Athletic Medicine in High School, and am currently a First Responder on campus. I am certified in First Aid, Basic Life Support, and Advanced Heart Saver. I love cooking, baking, gardening, and spending time outside. I also enjoy running, skateboarding, and hiking. Nothing makes me happier than sharing these activities with kids, and exploring new hobbies! I love pets, and have a cat named Pigeon. I am comfortable caring for children of any age, as well as helping parents in any way that I can! Thank you so much for your time!
