About Frances

Frances worked for me on a temporary assignment for a month. She was extraordinarily courteous, polite, skilled, talented, creative, professional, punctual, friendly, and flexible. My schedule was all over the place, so sometimes I asked her to work mornings, sometimes I asked her to work afternoons, sometimes I asked her to work all day long, and she even did one night for me, all without complaint. She was so easy to work with, like an angel sent to help me through a difficult and uncertain time. I can't say enough positive things about Frances. My children were cautious and shy upon meeting her. They are like that with everyone because they've experienced a lot of loss. But it wasn't long before they were running to greet her at the door with big smiles on, saying, "Franceeeeees!!!!!" and then when Frances left at the end of the day, my three-year-old would stand by the window and watch her walk to her car and drive away. Indeed, in a short time, they have grown to love her very much. Frances played lots of games and sang lots of songs with the children. She taught them some new ones and knew all the familiar ones. She was able to engage in high-energy play with my two boys, and then also do more quiet activities such as puzzles, art, music, and whatever else I threw her way. She took them to the park, she took them swimming, she took them for walks. I trust her judgment completely with regard to safety in terms of places to go and things to do. Also, my older child is speech-delayed, and Frances worked with him by playing games that involved lots of conversation, encouraging him to speak. He improved considerably over the course of the month. I cannot think of one single complaint. She is a gem and will be an indispensable asset to whichever family is lucky enough to hire her next.
