I have been on hiatus for the last several years helping care for my Father with Dementia. I am looking forward to caring for precious children again! As a Christian Mother, I care for each infant and child as they are my own. I have over 15 wonderful year's experience caring for newborns and toddlers. I am searching for a part-time position caring for an infant and/or toddler 1-2 days per week. My References describe me as very patient and nurturing, while consistently following their direction for their child's care. I have many References available to talk with you! My Background Report and Driving Record are clean. I lovingly engage each child in age-appropriate play and teaching. My schedule is flexible as I'm retired from a variety of medical office positions. I have cared for a menagerie of pets and I will gladly help with yours! I do not think I can stay enough about Frances.  When I called her references I was told she was like a Mary Poppins and she really is.  Frances has been helping care for my 17 month old since last summer.  Frances was the first person outside of family that we have left him with and we do not regret it a minute.  I have no issues leaving him with Frances as I know that she cares for him so much and will keep him safe.  Our son really seems to enjoy spending time with Frances, she is very one on one and has been so flexible with our families craziness, if I had need for her every day I would take it!

I cannot begin to express what Frances became to our family. Prior to Frances, we did not allow anyone to watch our children aside from our parents. She came into our home with the upmost respect for our family and our children and loved them as if they were her own. 

Every time she walked through our door, she was so kind and loving and sweet to them. She brought with her more energy than even I have at my age! She always had the upmost patience for them and would move from activity to activity to keep them entertained while teaching them along the way. She always taught our children the most beautiful manners. Her kindness is truly immeasurable!  

She was more than our nanny, she became part of our family too, and we were incredibly blessed to have her while we lived in Roanoke. If we could, we would have taken her with us because she is truly that incredible and amazing! She is the most trustworthy person I have ever met, she was always on time (often early), and always went above and beyond every time she walked through our door.

We will always hold a very special place for her in our hearts. We look forward to the day to have her come and visit us in Michigan! From day one, she met and exceeded all of our expectations. You would be very blessed to have her in your life too!

Frances is the best babysitter we've worked with so far - our children are now 6, 4, and 9 months.  

First, she engages fully with our children during her time with them: playing, teaching them, guiding and redirecting them with lots of kindness.  She encourages manners and responsibility along the way.  

Second, she is flexible and generous toward my husband and me.  On occasions we have had to change our plan, because of a sick child or now the COVID-19 conditions.  She has openly and agreeably sought to meet our changing needs. 

Third, she requests feedback.  On several occasions she has taken time to ask "Is there anything I can do differently?  Is there anything you need me to change?  Is there anything else I can do?"  It is a great comfort and support that she would proactively request feedback.  

Frances is a kind person of good character and will be a great help to you.  We are sorry that COVID has changed our circumstance / needs for the time being...

The whole family thought Frances was wonderful! We'd never had anyone outside the family watch the kiddos and I'm so glad we found her. I felt like I was leaving the kids with a trusted aunt. She even brought treats for our dog which was so sweet :)

Fran is an amazing person. She quickly became part of the family and helped teach and raise my son while I was at work. Fran helped with potty training and teaching manners. My son has grown to be a loving, caring young man thanks to Fran's help. She will always have a place in our hearts. I really can't say enough about this beautiful spirit.

Wonderful person great with my 3 grandchildren.  Would hire her again and I would recommend her to my family and friends.

I can't say enough about wonderful things about  Frances. I felt like I was leaving my daughter with family when Frances kept her. She is punctual and very pleasant. She has been the nanny for my daughter since she was 12 weeks old and I wish we could take her with us when we relocate to South Carolina. She is always asking if there's anything else she can do to be helpful. She helps with light cleaning and picking up around the house. It was always a joy to come home to a happy child and a kept house. She has always been very sweet to our sick cat and our dog can't wait till she arrives every morning. We feel like she is a member of our family.
