About Frances

I am a college junior originally from Atlanta, Georgia studying, but I am spending the summer in New York. I have several years of full time summer nanny experience, and I love caring for children of all ages. I'd describe my personality as joyful, curious, and deep. I like working with kids because they have such a unique perspective on the world. Plus, they always make me laugh! I'm looking for a job with a family that is caring and committed to each other. I started working with kids when I was 11 or so, when I started caring for my younger siblings myself. In my spare time, I like to read, run, and hang out with my family and friends. One thing you should know about me is that I will always show up. My skills include empathy and mirroring, playing make-believe, and conflict mediation. I have developed skills in dealing with big feelings, tantrums, and inter-sibling fights (as an eldest of three myself).
