Compassionate Christian & retired geriatric nurse with dementia certification who would like to be a companion/sitter for a senior lady while family caregiver works or requires a break. I live in Little River and have own transportation. Non smoker and prefer non smoking house. Pets ok. No stairs. Minimum 3 hour shift, flexible morning, afternoon hours. Personal care provided as needed for cleanliness; toileting, incontinent care. I offer appropriate 1:1 occupational, therapeutic activities to encourage personal stimulation/conversation/interaction based on client interests/family suggestions. Assistance with meals/prep, meds, and ADL's as ordered by family physician.

Fonda is a god send. She takes care of my mom with advanced stage Alzheimer’s when I need a break or I have something to do that I can’t include my mom in. She’s has a kind soul, is gentle and caring. She’s always shows up when she says she will and I never have to worry about my mom when she is there. She is a joy to be around. It can be hard to find trustworthy, caring people but I lucked up when I found her. Don’t hesitate to consider Fonda for your caregiving needs.
