About Folona

Folona is fantastic and we highly recommend her! She has been with our family for 6 years. We have 2 kids, now 6 and 11yrs. Our youngest was 3 months old when she began. She is extremely competent and knowledgeable about infant care and development, including breastmilk and introducing foods. She is safe and watchful, careful not to let the children do things where they could get hurt. She teaches children to be independent from a young age and develop self-help skills, such as dressing, cleaning up after themselves. She is fun and playful with the kids- doing puzzles, reading, playing board games and frequently taking them out to the park, etc. As our kids have aged into elementary school she manages their afterschool activities and supports them doing homework. She sets firm but loving boundaries. She is honest, always letting us know what happened during the day (even if it isn’t something we wanted to hear). She has a great sense of humor and an overall positive attitude. Folona is a gem and you won’t regret inviting her into your family!
