Hi! I'm an early childhood teacher with a Masters in TESOL. Currently finishing up my Montessori training for Infant/Toddlers in West Side Montessori School. Being with infants and toddlers is my passion. I love being a part of their growth and development. I believe that children are very capable of so many things and I strive to be the best guide for them as I can be. Collaborating with parents is also an important part of what I do and I pride myself for openly communicating to parents about their child's development. I try my best to teach independence, kindness, respect, and hopefully instill in them the same values my parents have taught me. Ultimately, I am here to be your teammate! I have about 13 years of child development knowledge and experience including 7 years of being a nanny/babysitter. Florida nannied for us when my youngest was 3.5 and my oldest was 7. She stayed with us for over 2 years - caring for them like they were like family. I always felt assured leaving them in her capable hands. Would not hesitate to recommend her for nannying or sitting. She is experienced and wonderful with infants and children of various ages. My oldest was 9 when she finally stopped working for us. Well past needing a nanny but we really had trouble letting her go!
