I got my experience working with the elderly through my grandmother. She had me check in and run errands for them and look after their pets. I got my Girl Scout badge working at a Senior Citizen Home in Indiana. My grandmother instilled in me the passion to care for the young and the weak; for she felt this was the right thing to do and the Godly thing to do as well. Whenever I can, I help those who are in need. My former church in Alexandria had an outreach program to assist with the children's daycare and elderly. Above all, patience and kindness is a must because the elderly are are most precious gift they gave us life and laid down the foundation for our next generation.
