About Florence

Florence Oyuko is a dedicated educator with a Bachelor's degree in Education (Economics and Mathematics) from Kenya and a Maryland teaching license. She has over three years of experience working as a Teacher Assistant, supporting diverse learners, including students with special needs, in inclusive and structured classroom settings. Florence has experience assisting with individualized instruction, classroom management, and student engagement. She is passionate about inclusive education and culturally responsive teaching. Currently pursuing New York State teacher certification, Florence is seeking to transition into a Special Education teaching role where she can support student growth, collaboration, and equitable learning opportunities
