I am a certified dementia/Alzheimer's caregiver. I love and enjoy serving as a private companion/caregiver to senior clients. I have a heart for people and the patients that comes with it. I like to build a relationship with my clients, preparing meals, Interpersonal skills, including exceptional patience and listening skills. Ability to provide care across a variety of settings, including nursing homes and day service programs. I became a private personal caregiver for my grandmother who had dementia. My duties as her caregiver was as follow, assist with all daily activities, such as bathing, bathroom functions, cooking and feeding, medication management, shopping and some light houses cleaning, while serving as her caregiver I helped her with keeping and making all doctors appointments and providing transportation. I worked for her 6 years up until her passing. I continue as a caregiver working for agencies. Then I started my own private caregiving business to pursue my passion.
