Incapacitated after a failed knee surgery that affected my central nervous system, I needed someone who could do for me what I was incapable of…. Which was pretty much everything. And Belle was a gift from heaven!! She was clean, a great cook, tech savvy and always kept herself busy. But most importantly, Bell brought peace to our home and within a short time we considered her a family member. Having to return home to Alaska for the summer, Bell came with us andmade my transition so easy. Instead of thinking of herself and and seizing the opportunity to experience this beautiful country, she instead focused on finding a replacement for herself.
