About Flavia

I'm Lana, an experienced and reliable babysitter with over 10 years of childcare experience. Families would describe me as engaging, patient, and warm. My goal is to create a fun and safe environment for children to thrive. I came to America as an au pair, which expanded my prior childcare experience and gave me valuable opportunities to work with kids of different ages, including caring for multiple children at once. Beyond childcare, I'm happy to assist with light household tasks, HW help, meal prep, and pet care. I speak Portuguese, which I love incorporating into my time with children when appropriate, and I've working comprehension of Spanish and am also beginning to learn ASL. I enjoy incorporating creative play, reading, and outdoor activities into my time with kids, and I value building trusting relationships with both children and parents. As a junior at Columbia, I'm currently looking for part-time positions. I'm open to occasional opportunities, but no full-time positions.
