About Fionnuala

Hi there! My name is Fionnuala and I'm a sophomore at UCSC studying Education. I'm excited to become part of the community in Santa Cruz and to start building connections with families here. I've always had a passion for helping children learn, grow, and thrive. As an attentive and friendly caregiver with 8 years of experience both in family childcare and in the classroom, I'm excited to bring warmth and joy to your family! I am experienced in caring for all ages from infant to preteen. I'm comfortable with large families since I am the eldest of 6 myself, the youngest being my 8-month-old baby brother! As a very family-centered person, I try to support my families by communicating actively with parents throughout the day. You can expect fun pictures throughout the day, updates on our activities, and of course immediate reports of any issues. Above all else, I want children to have fun, and the parents to feel confident that their children are safe and taken care of.
