About Fionnuala

Hi there! My name is Fionnuala and I'm a senior at UCSC studying Education and Psycholoy. I'm a coastside girl from HMB, and I'm excited to become part of the community in Santa Cruz and to start building connections with families here. I've always had a passion for helping children learn, grow, and thrive. I am an experienced caregiver with 8 years of experience both in family childcare and 5 years in the classroom. I am confident in caring for all ages from infant to preteen. I'm comfortable with large families as well, since I am the eldest of 6 siblings myself! As a very family-centered person, I try to support my families by communicating actively with parents throughout the day. You can expect fun pictures throughout the day, updates on our activities, and of course immediate reports of any issues. Above all else, I want children to have fun, and parents to know without a doubt that their children are safe and taken care of.
