About Fiona

Hello! My name is Fiona and I am a graduating senior at the University of North Texas Honors College. My childcare experience is primarily through a job I held at a non-profit organization in Houston, called Multicultural Education and Counseling Through the Arts or MECA. At MECA, I worked with students from 3rd grade all the way up to 11th graders to complete their schoolwork and keep their grades up in order to participate in the other activities the organization had to offer. Working with those kids made me so excited to go to work every day and made me an overwhelmingly more positive person that I have been able to carry on into different childcare positions, jobs, and my educational/professional career.
