About Fiona

I love working with kids and have wanted to be a teacher since I was very young. Being the oldest sister and cousin, I've always been the one to help out with playtime and crafts, and I find it so fun and engaging. Kids have such exciting imaginations and ideas and I've always learned a lot about the world from my experiences working with children. I started working with kids when I was around 11. I was a mother's helper for a family friend the summer before 7th grade and it was so exciting. I continued to babysit throughout middle school and high school, and in high school I worked as a Sunday School teacher and childcare aide. In my spare time, I like to read books, watch movies, go to museums, play card games, and spend time exploring with my friends. One thing you should know about me is I am game for anything! I know how to adapt and attend to differing personalities and prioritize the safety and enjoyment for the kids. I am ready for crafts, games, help with homework, etc.
