About Fernanda

Hi! My name is Fernanda, and I'm passionate about working with children. I hold both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Education and currently work as a high school teacher for Charles County Public Schools. I also volunteer as a Portuguese language instructor and have previous experience teaching Kindergarten and 2nd grade students. Originally from Brazil, my first language is Portuguese, and I'd be happy to incorporate language learning into your child's routine if you'd like! In addition to my classroom experience, I have worked as a nanny caring for both babies and young children. With over 5 years of experience in education and childcare, I bring patience, creativity, and a deep understanding of child development to everything I do. I have my own reliable transportation, am CPR certified. I'd love the opportunity to support your family-whether that's through babysitting, educational activities, or a mix of both!
