About Fernanda
Hello! My name is Fernanda. I am a bilingual tutor (English & Spanish) offering academic support for elementary students in the Pharr, McAllen, and surrounding areas. I recently completed my Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Leadership and I am a Spring '25 Alternative Certification candidate working toward my EC-6 teaching certification. I enjoy helping students build confidence in their learning by creating a patient and supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and practicing new skills. I primarily help students with reading, basic math, homework support, and strengthening foundational skills. I also offer essay proofreading and editing services for high school and college students, including APA and MLA formatting support.
