About Ferdous

Hi, my name is Ferdous, and I am a Computer Science student at UC Irvine with a strong background in math, problem solving, and tutoring. I work with students in elementary math, middle school math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Precalculus, Calculus 1, 2, and 3, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations. My tutoring approach is built around confidence, clarity, and quality practice. Math can feel intimidating when a student sees a topic for the first time, so I break problems into smaller steps, explain the reasoning behind each method, and help students recognize patterns instead of just memorizing formulas. For online sessions, I use an iPad and interactive whiteboard so students can clearly see every step in real time. I can also update parents on what we covered, what improved, and what to practice next. I am a great fit for students who feel behind, lack confidence, need exam help, or want to get ahead.
