Children with special needs are close to my heart. While I do not personally have special needs, I understand the challenges and blessings. I worked with a boy who is diagnosed with cerebral palsy and developmental delays for over five years as a nanny and babysitter. I worked as a Behavioral Assistant for about a year, working with a few different children with varying special needs. I also have other experience with children with autism and other special needs. My nephew who is now an adult is diagnosed with autism. I have also worked with other children with special needs in the preschool I worked at for three years. I hope to be able to provide the best care possible.
