I have cared for family members with dementia and Alzheimer's, and enjoy spending time with elderly friends, helping them any way that I can and listening to their stories. I am patient and gentle, I enjoy encouraging participation in activities, and we walk and do light exercise. I love the outdoors, especially to walk and believe it or not, to weed. I find cooking and laundry enjoyable, & if the person I'm caring for can participate with me if it would be a fun way to connect with them.
