Love them like they're my own. Hi, I am looking for a part time caregiver position to supplement my income. I am raising my grandson, whom is 13 years old, and it is tough on Social Security. I have cared for 6 different seniors in their home. Three passed away and one needed care until her back got better from surgery and one is now in Hospice. My mother was one of those, and I cared for her with Alzheimer's for the last 3 years of her life. I am very familiar with the process of preparing and administering medication. I know the procedure of bathing and help dressing as needed. I am able to do light housekeeping, meal preparation and running errands. I certainly understand that sometimes our loved ones just need companionship and a friendly face to talk and laugh with.
