I am a certified nurse assistant/ home health aide for over 12 years. I have experienced working in various nursing homes, assistant living, hospice care and in private homes. It's a pleasure for me to work with the elderly to assist and to be a companion to them. I assisted with ADL, giving showers, bath, skin, hair, mouth, nail and foot care. Ambulating, transferring from chair to bed and vice versa, also using mechanical lift for transfer, toileting, catether care , incontinency care, bladder patterning, cleaning bathroom after use. Home care, light house keeping, sweeping floor, washing dishes of client, preparing meals for client, assist in feeding and cleaning up after use of kitchen. Laundry- washing, folding and putting away of clothes. Companion care- sit and watch tv with client, read the news article, play games and converse on various topics- the weather, or getting to know the client on likeness, assist them in choosing their own clothes to wear, medication reminder
