About Fauzia

My name is Fauzia and I have been working as a scientist since 2022, when I finished my PhD in Chemistry at the University of Chicago. I currently have 2 cats, one I've had for 8 years, since my second year of grad school. I've also fostered multiple kittens. I grew up with parakeets and fish. My dad had two 30-gallon fish tanks that we used to take care of and I also had one or two betta fish. I also took care of the parakeets for my dad, one of which lived for almost 10 years before I left for grad school and handed over the responsibility to my younger brother. I've done a lot of research to learn how to take care of the different animals that I've been responsible for. I am especially knowledgeable about cats, since I have two. Both of my cats have reoccurring health problems, so I can handle a variety of issues. I am open to temporarily boarding a cat at my apartment, if we think the environmental change would not stress out the cat and the personality is compatible with my cats.
