About Faith

I have had the joy of raising three children and the experience of learning who I am as a mother and caregiver. Looking back one realizes that parenting is indeed a full-time job (with a lot of over time) that requires a lot of patience and a selfless attitude, but the rewards are tenfold as you see your children become young adults with an exciting future before them. I have always been nurturing, even as a child. My baby-sitting career started as early as 10 years old and went through to late teens. I am a believer that we as parents/caregivers shape young minds that will someday be leaders in all walks of life. My grown children are now 22, 23 and 24 and I still find the need to nurture and offer an environment of kindness and peace. I strongly encourage creativity along with a think outside the box mentality.... music, art, and books are the building blocks to a child's development and strengthen problem- solving and critical-thinking skills. I have had the gratifying experience to partake in the Indianapolis Marion County Library "Indy Reads" program for the past three years as a tutor, which has kept me intellectually and mentally stimulated. My passions are cooking, baking, decorating, music, reading, exercise and gardening.
