About Faith

I like tutoring because I love to see students succeed! I believe everyone can grow to understand challenging things, even if it may take them more time or more help. Seeing students experience that with aha moments or glowing after a successful exam is so fulfilling for me, especially in STEM topics. I started tutoring when I was in college! I had to use tutoring services to succeed in chemistry and biology my freshman year, and I realized how helpful it can be to hear another perspective and get outside help. I got the ability to serve as a tutor for Organic chemistry a few years later and have been tutoring in chemistry, biology, and math ever since. My skills include making stem topics accessible! I was homeschooled by my scientist parents (chemistry and biology) who developed in me a unique approach to stem topics. I love to share these tricks and tips with my students, even if they will only be thinking like a scientist for a semester!
