About Fabiola

I like to spend my summers working with children ages 5-10 as a teacher at a local non-profit program. In this job, I nurture the development and academic achievement of elementary age kids, while also effectively addressing their needs and communicating with parents. I love to bring that same level of support and effort to my babysitting job. Although I consider myself a good tutor, I connect with the kids I babysit in whatever way they want-- games, just dance, movie nights etc. I am also very family oriented and have been an informal caretaker for younger siblings, cousins, and family friends. I have often been a substitute babysitter and substitute pet sitter for friends when they were unable to make it to a shift. Through these experiences, I have learned how to approach caretaking from the many different perspectives of parents and am capable of meeting the needs of a diverse array of kids (and pets).
