Provided companionship, made her favorite lunch, run light errands. As her health got worse responsibilities were to ensure she was helped to go to the bathroom, sponge bathing and essentially changing her diapers. ensured she took her medication and also administered them as per her family's instructions. I also watched an elderly man who was suffering from dementia and Alzheimer's . Helped with getting up to his walker, grooming/bathing, feeding, talking to him, helped getting dressed, watched golf with him and ensured he was comfortable. Taking quick walks outside. As time progressed family put him in a nursing home but still wanted 24/7 care for him. While the nursing stuff was there we would ensure prompt assurance and provided him with care if nursing staff was not immediately available

Job thoroughly discussed with her. First weekend trained her on care required. Came 2nd week and was fine. Next day called and said she had another job and would not cotinue with us. She should not have taken job initially. She left us in a bind. My recommendation is be careful if you hire her. She appears to be not committed towards her employer. Will change her mind easily,
