About Evien

Hello! I am a 21-year-old GVSU student. I have lots of experience working with and caring for kids of all age groups! I love their curiosity and watching them interact with the world. I love reading with them and being outside. Playing at the park and going for walks in the wagon/stroller are always my go to. I have never had a problem connecting with kids through the activities and play they enjoy. I am reliable, responsible, and patient with the children I've watched over the years. Where structure is needed, I will be firm. But I mostly enjoy discovering what the kids like to do, and having fun right alongside them! I am proficient in diaper changes, bottle feeding, food preparation, following a schedule for meals/naps, and I'm always ready to play make believe or do crafts. My most important quality is my compassion towards children. I love getting to know them, and providing a nurturing environment where they feel safe to have fun and be themselves.
