About Evelyn

The only person ( for now) I took care of was my grand mother. Near the end of her beautiful life, she was put by my family in an assisted living facility. I visited her often and stayed with her for weeks, I learned about the care of the elderly as I offered to help the nurses, cooking, reading books to some, the Bible to others, I helped with their feeding to those who needed help. I took my grandma to the patio in her wheel chair, to catch the sun and see the birds. We sang happy songs with one lady who used to play the piano for all. I sat next and held the hands of those who were sad or absent. And helped the nurses to distract them when some injections were coming their way. I am certified on several healing therapies, I helped my Grandma, and now myself to alleviate pain and sadness. I enjoy life and believe is up to me to live the best because what we do every day is important and once the day is gone is gone. If we wake up tomorrow morning let's celebrate and be happy.
