After college, my desire to help others and to learn about the world through other people's experiences led me to join the US Peace Corps which deepened my empathy for all walks of life. Since then, I have been a teacher in an urban public high school for over 15 years which has taught me great resilience and patience. Right now I'm taking a break from the classroom but want to continue working with people in a way that feels meaningful.
