About Evelyn

I've been an educator/childcare professional for 5 years now. I've worked with kids 3 months old to 15 years old. I was a daycare teacher for 2. 5 years and a professional nanny for 2 years (2 separate families, 1 year each) plus babysitting for my nanny families + their friends! My CPR is currently expired but I'm more than willing to get recertified. I am bilingual and speak English and Spanish (I also know common baby ASL words). My philosophy around child care is that children are learning to be people and should be guided with patience, kindness, and understanding. Some emotions can feel 10 times bigger in a little body and it's important to help them feel and process their emotions. I love being outside, music, arts n crafts, cats, hugs, jumping in puddles, trying new food, visiting new places, and creating lasting memories!
