About Evelyn

Evelyn provided excellent and loving compassionate care to my wife of 55 years during her last few months before she succumbed to Parkinson’s disease in July 2025. Evie was exceptionally sensitive to the changes in my wife’s needs as the disease progressed. Her tenderness and empathy towards my wife forged a deep relationship where my wife was completely trusting and comfortable with Evie and the care she received and thought of Evie more as a family member than just a hired caregiver. We relied on Evie to train the team of round-the-clock caregivers on the both the mechanics of care as well as the most appropriate ways to communicate with my wife as she declined. When my wife transitioned to hospice care, Evie was highly complimented by the outstanding hospice care team for her skillful and exceptional care of my wife throughout that difficult period. Evelyn keep detailed records of the daily conditions, care and medications which were invaluable in coordinating my wife’s care needs across our in- home caregivers and the hospice nurses and CNAs.
