About Evelyn

I have a Bachelor's degree in Child Development and extensive experience working with newborns through teenagers. I will be new to the Columbus area and excited to connect with local families while continuing the work I love helping children learn, grow, and thrive. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work in a variety of childcare settings from nannying for over a year and a half for a wonderful family and volunteering at a Joni and Friends. For the past 11 years, I have worked as a Vision Therapist, helping children ages 4 and up develop the visual and cognitive skills they need to succeed. This role has given me experience supporting children with reading, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, ball skills, and aspects of auditory processing. I strive to create a safe and engaging environment where children feel encouraged to learn, explore, and build confidence. I believe in making each day fun while supporting every child's individual needs and development.
