About Eva

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, conscientious, and chill. I like working with kids because I love them. I think that they can be the funniest people around. I started working with kids when I was 13. I am the oldest cousin and sibling so I have always been tasked with taking care of my brother and younger cousins. In my spare time, I like to read and walk. I love swimming and cooking/baking have a lot of experience. One thing you should know about me is that I need a set schedule. I am willing to make adjustments for emergencies, but I need set hours so I can plan my days accordingly. My skills include empathy, flexibility, and patience. My younger brother had anger issues that he recently grew out of. My volunteering experience was with the Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center and I worked with teens who have autism to help them learn how to make and keep friends. In this course I learned the importance of empathy and patience in child development.
