About Eva

I am enrolled at Yale's Nurse-Midwifery program, beginning in the fall. I've always had a passion for childcare. I began babysitting at 11 years old for an administrator at my elementary school with three young children aged 6 months to 5 years old. Since then I have been a camp counselor to children aged 6-14, assistant teacher at a preschool for children aged 2-4, babysat for children aged 1-14, and volunteered at schools for children aged 4-18. In school settings I helped organize activities, read stories, played games, made art and crafts, fed snacks and lunches, helped change into clean clothes, provided appropriate lesson materials (based on age of children), and supervised field trips. In home settings I dress children, feed them, organize fun indoor and outdoor games to play, go on trips to zoos, parks, museums, plays, make art, help with homework, sing and read, bath and prepare kids for bed, and I've been told I'm great at singing kids to sleep.
