About Evan

Hi! My name is Evan, and I'm a dedicated and patient tutor with a passion for helping students build confidence and master new skills. I'm currently a student at the University of Washington Seattle, majoring in Economics with a minor in Chinese. I have several years of experience working with children and teens, both as a private swim instructor and babysitter, which has taught me the importance of clear communication, encouragement, and adapting my teaching style to fit each student's needs. I offer tutoring in subjects such as math, economics, English, and beginner Chinese, as well as general study skills and homework support. I'm especially comfortable working with elementary, middle school, and high school students. I'm CPR certified, organized, and always prioritize creating a positive, supportive environment where students feel motivated to learn.
