I have 22 years experience working for North Shore Animal League America. My job included doing adoptions for dogs and cats. I would do adoptions at off-site events. We would take our mobile units to different locations and our adoptions at these locations. It also included the care and feeding of the animals and dispensing medication when necessary. Upon returning to the shelter I would be responsible for paperwork and putting the animals away for the night, maybe sure they had fresh food and water and clean bedding. All of my work over the past 22 years has been with adult dogs and cats and puppies and kittens.
