Becoming a caregiver felt like a natural calling, inspired by the impact my grandparents had on my life. Their presence instilled in me patience, compassion, and a deep appreciation for supporting others. For over 2 decades, I've been privileged to assist adults, seniors, and disabled children/ adolescents with their well-being and independence. My approach is rooted in patience and empathy, allowing me to connect with care recipients and understand their unique needs. I am skilled at adapting to changing routines, de-escalating stressful situations, and handling confusion or agitation. I prioritize open communication with families, providing regular updates via their preferred method, be it text, phone call, or in-person check-ins. I understand that earning trust is paramount, and I strive to build connections through consistent, respectful, and reliable care. I can provide transportation, run errands, and prepare meals.
