I was raised by an in-home babysitter and started helping with the kids in her care when I was young. By 16, I was trusted to take over whenever she had appointments, often looking after 7 to 13 children at once, from1-year-olds to 12-year-olds. So if you have a busy household or just need someone who stays calm when there's a lot going on, that's the environment I learned in. I'm calm, patient, and curious. I was the kid who asked "why" about everything, and I love nurturing that same curiosity in others-answering questions, doing crafts, reading stories, or working through tough homework. I'm also comfortable with meal prep, bedtime routines, and homework help across all subjects. As a Resident Advisor, I've sharpened my ability to handle emergencies calmly, enforce routines without being harsh, and build trust with the kids in my care. I'm also a senior in Boston writing a novel, and I love astronomy (I'm planning a PhD in astrophysics!). I also cook, bake, and play volleyball.
