About Ethan

Hey! My name's Ethan and I will tell you a little about myself. I just moved to New York from California where I was a certified snowboard instructor at Mammoth Mountain for the past 2 years. I have also worked at multiple summer camps both day and sleep away, and love working with kids of all ages. I began working at a sleep away summer camp when I was 17, and loved that experience. I then began a career as a Policy Analyst for the Dpt of Health, but figured it wasn't a great time to work in government so I became a snowboard instructor instead! I just drove back across country and moved to Brooklyn! My childcare and teaching philosophy centers around finding fun and engaging activities that foster skill building and development; physically, mentally, emotionally. Outside of work my hobbies are rock climbing, cooking, making art, and playing tennis, pickleball, and chess!
