About Estrella

Hello everyone! My name is Estrella, and I'm 20 years old. I've been working in childcare for 4 years. I started childcare as a tutor for ages 9-10! Over the school year I'm an after-school youth leader for grades K-5, where I help with homework and lead activities. Working with students K-5 has allowed me to tutor in all subjects of education. My field of study in university also allows me to tutor students in English Literature for grades 6-12. Being a safe space and positive mentor for kids to rely on is what motivates me. I believe that keeping children's curiosity and imagination alive is the most important thing in the world. I currently am studying my 4th year of English Literature and Human Developmental Sciences at UC San Diego. In my free time, I love to go on runs, hang out with my friends, and on special occasions, go to Disneyland! I'd love to get to know your family next
