About Estrella

Hello everyone! My name is Estrella, and I'm 19 years old. I've been working in childcare for 4 years. I started childcare as a tutor for ages 9-10, then I branched out to being a summer camp counselor for ages 6-8. Being a camp counselor for the past 3 years has allowed me to meet wonderful kids and parents whom I began babysitting for! Being a safe space and positive mentor for kids to rely on is what motivates me. I believe that keeping children's curiosity and imagination alive is the most important thing in the world. Working in childcare made me realize my passion for teaching. Now, I study English Literature at UC San Diego. In my free time, I love to go on runs, hang out with my friends, and on special occasions, go to Disneyland! I'd love to get to know your family next!
