About Esther

I have my bachelors in social work and am TBRI trained. I am CPR certified and First Aid trained, as well as a lifeguard. I have been babysitting for about 10 years. Before that I was a mother's helper. I had lived in North Carolina where I was a live in nanny for 6 months with 9 and 12 years old boys. That was the beginning of my senior year of high school. I started to nanny for a teacher at my alma mater twice a week while also doing college classes. The boy was 3 and we would do fun things like story time in the orchard. I have a passion for working with kids and love to see them learn and grow. I can help with homework but also change a diaper. I currently work as a case manager/social worker at a non profit residential children's home, and am looking for extra work in the evenings and on weekends.

Esther Is truly a gift. She watched our three year old for us for over a year. She was dependable and respectful of our parenting choices and schedule, which we valued. She was caring, fun, and creative which our son loved. She was willing to help watch our big kids when they were out of school- always making them feel included. We had several big life changes- changing jobs, moving homes and Esther remained consistent and willing to travel and adjust the schedule to make it work. We moved out of state for work and still miss her. We also helped us with pets while we traveled, she was super comfortable with dogs. I could continue to say wonderful things about Esther she is trustworthy and reliable.
