About Esther

I have been taking care of children since I was 9 years old. I spent my afternoons babysitting for the families in my community after school while I was in elementary school and high school. I studied in Israel for a year and volunteered my free time to assist in a classroom for children with disabilities. I worked and volunteered for Yedei Chesed in Monsey NY for seven years caring for children with disabilities in a group home, respite, and hospital setting. I am certified in CPR and AMAP and I have some basic medical knowledge. I have a calm yet cheerful personality and children tend to gravitate towards me. I take the time to get to know each child that I come in contact with so I can give them exactly what they need in order for them to be themselves and grow at their own pace. I notice children's strengths pretty quickly and I try to encourage them in those areas. I am looking to care for one child on weekdays. I am pretty flexible about the hours.
