Hi, I'm Esther! I am currently substituting while seeking a full-time teaching position. I earned my teaching certification and Master's degree from UW Bothell, along with a Multilingual ELL endorsement. I am a 5th-year educator with experience teaching 5th and 6th grade in the Edmonds School District. I recently started tutoring students in grades 1 through 6 and enjoy helping them build confidence, strengthen foundational skills, and explore learning through engaging and creative lessons. I also have experience working with students with autism, using patient, supportive, and individualized approaches to help each child succeed. Before I became a certified K-8 teacher, I also worked as a YMCA Childcare Assistant Supervisor and a pre-K teacher, which strengthened my ability to design creative, age-appropriate, and engaging lessons tailored to each student's needs.

Ester is an amazing and dedicated tutor. It is obvious she has a passion for teaching. I did not know exactly what my children needed from tutoring, I just knew they were falling behind and needed extra help. Ester knew exactly what to ask for and tested the children to see their strengths were and what needed to be worked on. It is a benefit that she is a substitute teacher in the public school system because she knows first hand what they need and how it is being taught. She is reliable and on time. I cannot say enough good things about Ester. I highly recommend her as a tutor.
