About Esteban

Hi, I'm Esteban! I graduated magna cum laude from Cal Poly Pomona with a B. S. in General Biology. I'm a certified EMT (NREMT) with clinical experience, and I'm currently in a Post-Baccalaureate program at UIC College of Medicine, enrolling in medical school fall 2027. My teaching background includes tutoring elemtnary students in math, classmates in chemistry, biology, and algebra, and helping high school and community college friends work through tough material. I've also run study groups where we taught concepts back to each other, and I use that same approach with students. I tutor most subjects and age groups. With English/Grammar, I build confidence through repetition and clear examples. With science and math, I focus on the underlying logic rather than memorized steps. I'm patient, direct, and build lessons around each student's actual gaps. I offer a free 30-min lesson consultation and ask for 24 hours notice for cancellations. Reach out and let's set up a first session.
