Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Esperanza. Two out of the four mornings she worked for me she cancelled at the very last minute, like less than an hour before (7:08am and she was supposed to come over at 7:30am am for me to leave for work). Additionally, in reviewing the video footage, I have serious concerns about her caregiving. She spent a total of maybe 3 minutes out of the days she was here actually interacting with my baby and playing with him. The rest of the time she was on her phone ignoring him, either scrolling or talking on the phone, even when he would try to get her attention and would pull up on her leg. The video footage was fairly heartbreaking. She would walk right past him and ignore him. I watched her leave the room he was in several times, or stand at the other end of the room where he was out of eyesight behind the couch playing near an outlet (my house is not baby proofed because I just moved in and I tell caregivers to not leave him alone). She also would just walk away and ignore him being on her phone while he was eating, which is a safety concern for me as well.
