Our only interaction with this caregiver was with her application to our job which after applying and messaging she admitted to not realizing the offer details and that she was not interested in the job. If her intention was to negotiate (trying to give her the benefit of the doubt) she could have messaged before applying asking if negotiating the rate was an option for us, but instead she submitted an application for our specific job and $ rate. I hope that she will pay more attention to detail if she applies to other families' job posts. I do not know her situation and cannot speak to the quality of care offered; however, when reaching out to the care.com support team they asked me to report profiles who are doing this & submit a review to help this not happen again in hopes to save other families the added stress & frustration (on top of trying to find a caretaker you can trust with your precious children). It's wasting time that parents just do not have.
